How many guests can stay at Villa Diogo?
Villa Diogo welcomes up to 7 guests – perfect for a family holiday, a getaway with friends or simply a little more space for everyone.
There are three bedrooms with double beds, plus two sofa beds in the living room. So whether you’re an early riser or someone who likes to sleep in, there’s room for everyone to find their own little corner.
How many bedrooms and bathrooms does Villa Diogo have?
Villa Diogo has three bedrooms and two bathrooms – which, with up to eight guests, is definitely a good thing! After all, nobody wants to queue for the bathroom when there’s a beautiful island waiting outside. 😉

Does Villa Diogo have a private pool?
Yes – and it’s one of our favourite things about Villa Diogo! 💦
The villa has its own private infinity pool, with beautiful views across the landscape and towards the sea. It’s the perfect place for a refreshing dip, a lazy afternoon in the sun or simply enjoying a glass of wine while watching the view.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, the pool can be heated for an additional 25,- € per day.
If you’d like to enjoy a lovely warm pool during your stay, just let us know when booking. The heating takes around two days to reach the desired temperature, so a little advance notice is appreciated.
How far is Villa Diogo from Ponta do Sol?
Villa Diogo is around 2 km from the centre of Ponta do Sol – just about 10 minutes by car.
The villa is tucked away in a peaceful hillside location, so you get that wonderful feeling of being away from it all, while Ponta do Sol and the coast are still just a short drive away. We think it’s a pretty lovely combination.
Is parking available at Villa Diogo?
Yes! There is free private parking directly at the property.
And since Madeira is an island we definitely recommend exploring by car, having your own parking space makes coming home after a day of discovering the island nice and easy.
Is Villa Diogo suitable for families with children?
Absolutely. Children of all ages are welcome at Villa Diogo, so the whole family can enjoy a little Madeira adventure together.
A cot is also available free of charge upon request, subject to availability.
Is Villa Diogo suitable for longer stays?
Definitely. ❤️
With plenty of space, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, Villa Diogo has everything you need if you’d like to stay a little longer.
And honestly, Madeira is one of those places where a few extra days never seem like a bad idea…

What about the fireplace?
There’s a fireplace in the living area, adding a lovely cosy touch to the villa.
We love that Villa Diogo gives you the best of both worlds: sunny days by the infinity pool and cosy evenings by the fire when the temperature drops a little.
Are pets allowed at Villa Diogo?
We absolutely love dogs – and we have a little four-legged friend of our own 🐾❤️
Unfortunately, though, pets are not allowed at Villa Diogo. We know that’s not always easy when your best friend has four paws, but we hope you’ll understand.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am.
Need a little more flexibility? Just let us know! Depending on availability, we’re happy to arrange an earlier check-in or later check-out individually. We’ll always do our best to make your arrival and departure as easy and relaxed as possible.
What if my flight to Madeira is delayed?
No worries at all – we know that getting to Madeira doesn’t always happen exactly according to plan. ✈️❤️
Madeira’s airport can be a little more weather-sensitive than many others, especially on windy days. Sometimes pilots may need to wait for a better moment to land, which can mean a few extra loops over the island or a delayed arrival.
So if your flight is running late, simply keep us updated and let us know your new arrival time. We’ll stay in touch and make sure everything is arranged for your arrival.
